Get Started with EarthCoop
EarthCoop uses a multi-step member registration process. Establishing an authenticated account is only the beginning: the platform still needs the member information required for identity, professional dimensions, Primary Residence and governance/group membership.
Accept the governing terms and start registration
Begin from the EarthCoop welcome/registration flow and satisfy the current governing-agreement requirements. If the invitation gate is enabled for the deployment, the current invitation policy also applies.
EarthCoop currently supports the established email/password flow and an implemented Google authentication/registration path. A Google sign-in can establish the authenticated account path, but it does not bypass EarthCoop's agreement, eligibility or member-profile completion requirements.
Verify/authenticate the account
On the email/password path, complete the current email verification step before continuing. On the supported Google path, the provider authentication is handled through the current OAuth flow. In both cases, EarthCoop remains responsible for the member-registration state that follows.
Complete your identity information
Continue through the personal-information step using accurate identity information. EarthCoop is designed around one real member identity rather than anonymous duplicate economic memberships, so information requested for identity and eligibility should be entered accurately.
Add your profession and expertise
Complete the professional/expertise step. These data are not only profile labels: they are part of the dimensions EarthCoop uses for professional and specialty system groups.
Set your Primary Residence and base governance area
Use the canonical location picker to describe your Primary Residence from the wider geographic hierarchy down to the base governance level that applies to your settlement.
The terminal registration level is topology-aware. A city without an urban region, an urban region without a neighborhood, or a village without a neighborhood can itself be the relevant base when no lower governance unit exists. A proposed valid base location may remain pending review without forcing the member to abandon registration.
Street and smaller local-address details are optional after registration. They improve local-address precision but are not required to complete the base-governance registration contract.
Open My Groups
After registration, EarthCoop automatically places you into the relevant system groups derived from your verified profile dimensions. You do not need to manually create these groups as part of onboarding.
The system-group families include:
- Public assemblies — geographic public-governance groups from your local base upward through wider levels;
- Professional and specialty groups — based on your occupation and expertise across the relevant geographic hierarchy;
- Age/gender groups — system groups derived from those member dimensions across the relevant hierarchy.
User-created groups are separate and do not replace the automatic system-group structure.
Participate at the level allowed by your role
Permissions are not identical in every group. At the member's base/local governance level, an Active role can participate according to the current group and governance rules. At higher system levels, membership may be observational rather than a direct right to intervene in every discussion or election.
A Temporary Active role can enable limited participation where the relevant rules allow it, but it does not create systemic-election voting rights and does not count as an ordinary Active member for election eligibility thresholds.
Explore current project, finance, assistant and client surfaces
From the authenticated product you can explore current project workflows, the implemented Najm Bahar domain, support tickets, the current Najm Hoda interaction surface, and the selected first-party/native capabilities exposed through the current versioned /api/v1 boundary.
