What the knowledge base contains
The knowledge base currently includes 20+ published articles organised across 18 categories, covering everything from account registration to group management, NajmBahar finances, project investment, and cooperative elections. Each article has a title, excerpt, full content, and category label. Featured articles are promoted at the top of the browsing view. Articles are written and reviewed by the EarthCoop team. When a topic comes up repeatedly in support tickets, the team adds or expands a KB article so future users can self-serve.How to browse articles directly

How NajmHoda uses the knowledge base
Every time you send a message in the NajmHoda chat widget, the Steward agent runs an automatic content search before generating a reply. The search works as follows:- Keyword extraction — The Steward extracts up to five keywords from your question.
- Multi-source search — It queries three sources simultaneously: KB articles (matching title and excerpt), blog posts (matching title and content), and FAQ entries (matching question and answer text).
- Result ranking — Up to three results are retrieved from each source, giving the agent up to nine pieces of supporting content per question.
- Prompt injection — The matched articles, their categories, excerpts, and URLs are passed to the AI model alongside your question, so the answer is grounded in authoritative platform documentation.
- Reference links in response — Any KB articles or blog posts used in the answer appear as clickable links in the response, so you can read the full source.
NajmHoda searches the title and excerpt of each article, not the full body text. Keep this in mind if you are wondering why a very specific phrase from inside an article did not surface — try asking in broader terms if your first question returns limited results.
Frequently asked questions
Can I search the knowledge base from the chat widget?
Can I search the knowledge base from the chat widget?
Yes. When you ask NajmHoda a question, it automatically searches the knowledge base for you and includes relevant article links in its response. You do not need to open the knowledge base separately unless you want to browse by category.
Are knowledge base articles available in both English and Persian?
Are knowledge base articles available in both English and Persian?
The platform supports both English and Persian. Article availability in each language depends on whether the content team has published a version in that language. Your interface language preference (set in your profile) does not automatically filter the knowledge base, but the Steward agent will respond in the language it detects from your question.
What is the difference between a KB article, a blog post, and a FAQ?
What is the difference between a KB article, a blog post, and a FAQ?
KB articles are structured guides and reference documents about how to use specific platform features. Blog posts are less formal updates — news, tips, and announcements grouped by topic. FAQ entries are short question-and-answer pairs for common queries. NajmHoda searches all three when you ask a question.
Can I suggest a new knowledge base article?
Can I suggest a new knowledge base article?
Yes. Open a support ticket and describe the topic you could not find documentation for. The support team reviews ticket patterns regularly and creates new articles when a topic comes up frequently.
How articles stay up to date
You do not need to worry about NajmHoda giving you outdated information. The platform keeps content current automatically:- When an admin publishes, updates, or deletes a KB article, blog post, or FAQ entry, the Steward agent’s content cache is cleared instantly.
- The next question NajmHoda receives after a content change triggers a fresh query, so the answer will reflect the latest published content.
- The content summary is cached for up to one hour to keep responses fast. In practice this means NajmHoda is always current within one hour of any content change — and often immediately, because any new question after an update rebuilds the cache from scratch.
