Submitting a project on EarthCoop makes your cooperative idea visible to the entire community for potential investment. Before community members can invest in your initiative, a platform admin reviews your proposal to confirm it meets quality and transparency standards. This page walks you through every step, from filling in project details to handling reviewer feedback.
You must have an active NajmBahar account before you can submit a project. If you have not yet created one, go to NajmBahar → Agreement and complete the setup first.

How to Submit a Project

1

Navigate to My Projects

From your NajmBahar dashboard, open Projects → My Projects, then click Create New Project. If you are submitting on behalf of a cooperative group, navigate to the group’s NajmBahar section instead. You must be a group manager (role 2 or 3) to submit on a group’s behalf.
2

Fill In Project Details

Complete all required fields in the project form. See Required Fields below for the full list. Your project is saved and enters the review queue as soon as you submit the form.
3

Select the Three-Level Category

Use the cascading category selectors to choose your occupational field:
  • Select a Level 1 sector from the top-level list.
  • The Level 2 selector loads the sub-sectors for your Level 1 choice.
  • The Level 3 selector loads the specific fields under your Level 2 choice.
All three levels are required. The platform validates that each level is a proper child of the one above it.
4

Upload Your Business Plan

Attach your full business plan as a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file (maximum 10 MB). This document gives reviewers and investors the detail they need to evaluate your project. The file is required on first submission and optional on updates.
5

Set Your Funding Goal and Terms

Enter the investment amount (in GOL), the profit percentage you are offering investors, and the investment duration in months. These figures are locked in once the project is approved, so set them carefully.
6

Submit for Review

When everything looks correct, click Submit. Your project is saved with a pending status and the admin team is notified immediately. You can still edit the project while it is in pending status — any changes are saved to the same submission.

Project Statuses

Only approved projects appear in the investment marketplace. Projects in any other status are invisible to investors.

The Review Process

After you submit, the admin team takes the following steps.
1

Admin Opens the Review

An admin picks up your pending project and sets its status to under_review. This signals that active evaluation has started.
2

Admin Evaluates the Project

The reviewer reads your summary, examines the business plan, checks the category and financial terms, and assesses whether the project meets platform standards.
3

Decision: Approve, Reject, or Request Revision

The admin takes one of three actions:
  • Approve — Status becomes approved. Your project goes live immediately.
  • Reject — Status becomes rejected and a rejection reason is stored. You are notified and can revise and resubmit.
  • Request Revision — Status becomes rejected and detailed revision notes are attached. Functionally the same as a rejection — you revise and resubmit.
Every admin action — including who reviewed, what decision was made, and when — is recorded permanently in the project’s review history. You can view this log on your project detail page.

Revision and Resubmission

If your project is rejected, you retain full edit access.
1

Read the Rejection Reason

Open the project detail page. The reviewer’s comments and rejection reason are displayed. Check the review history for any additional notes from earlier review rounds.
2

Edit the Project

Update the fields or business plan file to address the reviewer’s concerns. You can save your changes as many times as needed while the project is in rejected status.
3

Resubmit

Once you are satisfied with your revisions, click Resubmit for Review. The status resets to pending, the rejection reason is cleared, and the resubmission timestamp is recorded. The project enters the review queue again.
Address all points raised in the rejection reason before resubmitting. Incomplete revisions are likely to result in another rejection and delay your project going live.
