The EarthCoop projects system lets community members bring cooperative ideas to life. Whether you are proposing an agricultural venture, a local enterprise, or any other productive initiative, you can submit a project through your NajmBahar account, invite community investment, and manage the full lifecycle from first draft to successful completion — all in one transparent, accountable place.

Roles

Every interaction with the projects system falls into one of two roles. Project Owner — You create and submit the project. You set the funding goal, profit percentage, and duration, upload your business plan, and respond to any admin review feedback. Once your project is approved, you receive invested capital through the NajmBahar payment system and are responsible for returning principal plus agreed profit to investors when the project completes. Investor — You browse approved projects, choose how much to invest, and pay through your NajmBahar balance. You track your investment status and expected return from your dashboard and receive notifications at each stage.
Both individual users and cooperative groups can act as either project owners or investors.

Project Lifecycle

Every project moves through a defined set of statuses from creation to completion.
If your project is rejected, you keep full edit access and can resubmit after making the requested changes. Each resubmission resets the status to pending and creates a new entry in the review history.

Three-Level Category Hierarchy

Every project is classified using three nested levels drawn from the occupational fields taxonomy. Selecting all three levels is required before you can submit.
  • Level 1 — Broad sector (e.g., Agriculture)
  • Level 2 — Sub-sector (e.g., Horticulture)
  • Level 3 — Specific field (e.g., Flower Cultivation)
The category hierarchy is validated server-side, so each level must be a legitimate child of the level above it.

Investment Workflow Overview

Once a project reaches approved status, the investment cycle begins.
  1. Investors browse the public project listing and select a project.
  2. An investor submits an investment request specifying the amount.
  3. Payment is processed through the investor’s NajmBahar balance — funds transfer directly to the project owner’s NajmBahar account.
  4. The investment moves through statuses: pending → paid → active → completed (or cancelled / refunded if needed).
  5. When the project owner completes the project, principal plus agreed profit is returned to each investor’s NajmBahar account.
All monetary amounts on the platform use the GOL unit, the currency of the NajmBahar financial system. Make sure your NajmBahar account has a sufficient balance before investing.
